3 generations of the Ickrath family make art: Joachim Ickrath, born in 1940, Sebastian Ickrath, born in 1965, and Lilith Ickrath, born in 1997. We visited them in Joachim Ickrath’s studio in Völklingen in Saarland and found out how they came to develop their respective working methods. The occasion is Joachim Ickrath’s current exhibition “Augenblick”, which opens at the Herweck company in St. Ingbert on 24 November and runs until 24 December 2023.
